JupyterHealth: An AI Platform for Edge Medicine at Scale

Most healthcare happens outside the doctor's office, in the daily rhythms of patients managing chronic conditions at home without real-time guidance or support. JupyterHealth proposes to close that gap by building open-source infrastructure that integrates data from electronic health records and wearable biosensors into a continuous, intelligent health management system. The vision is Edge Medicine: placing AI-powered support closer to patients and frontline workers, where it can have the most immediate and meaningful impact. Starting with cardiac health, the project aims to demonstrate what becomes possible when healthcare is no longer episodic and reactive but always present.
